The Forest Oak Middle School project will receive:
Major interior renovations throughout the existing school; including a new secured front entry vestibule and corridor upgrades. It will also include interior upgrades for Band, Orchestra, and Choir, as well as Life Cycle Improvements (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing, Technology, Security).
Exterior building envelope improvements; including roofing, new windows and doors. The project will also focus on site improvements: a new secure outdoor collaboration and learning courtyard, extension of existing fire lane, replacement of existing track, new parking area south of Pecos.
A new 3 story Addition Building; The addition will include classrooms, fine arts, new media center for student collaboration, science and CTE labs.
*A temporary classroom village was installed the Summer of 2024 to accommodate Forest Oak’s enrollment increase- due to closure of Glencrest School. The portable village will be removed upon completion of Middle School project.
