J. Martin Jacquet Middle School

Paritioned into sections, Phase 4 is maintaining momentum; renovations on the 2nd floor classrooms, offices and staff lounge are in their final stages and prepping for turnover. Meanwhile, in the 1st floor admin offices and classrooms, MEP trades are in full swing with overhead rough-ins.

New furniture, fixtures and equipment for the Performing Arts Addition and the Phase 3 classrooms were installed during Spring Break.  Crews worked to assemble, install and move furniture into place.  The project’s final phase, renovating the school’s internal group of classrooms and offices is underway, currently working on MEP and framing.

The Performing Arts building addition is complete and final interior details and finishes are underway.

Phase 2 Performing Arts addition is nearing completion. Phase 3 renovations, Auditorium, and locker room renovations are complete and ready for occupancy. Phase 4 renovations beginning soon.

Phase 2 auditorium, locker room, and gym life safety upgrades are progressing. Phase 3 interior renovations and the Performing Arts addition remain on track for early next year turnover.

Phase 2A interior renovations are now complete, with upgraded spaces preparing for turnover following the Thanksgiving break. Work on the auditorium is also nearing completion. The Performing Arts addition continues to advance towards its final stages. Phase 3 classroom renovations are ongoing.

Phase 2B and 2C renovations, including the cafeteria, kitchen, media center, classrooms & collaboration rooms have been turned over to the district and are in-use.  Locker rooms improvements are on track for completion in November 2025.  Phase 2A renovations & new addition, Performing Arts areas are scheduled for December 2025 completion.

Phase 2B and 2C renovations are delivering key upgrades for students and staff, including cafeteria, kitchen, media center, classroom, and collaboration rooms. Locker rooms improvements are also on track for completion in early November 2025.

Phase 1 additions, including the new 2-story classroom building, administrative offices, and science labs, were completed in early August and opened for the first day of school.

New front and courtyard additions are on track for early August 2025 completion. Work includes classrooms, administrative offices, and specialized learning spaces. Kitchen and cafeteria renovations are underway, with demolition progressing in other areas.
