The J. Martin Jacquet Middle School project includes:
Major interior renovations throughout the campus. This includes a new secured front entry vestibule, corridor upgrades, upgrades in common areas/cafeteria for student collaboration, as well as Life Cycle Improvements (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing, Technology, Security).
Building Additions for (4) Science Labs, (2) General Classrooms, Weight Room, Band, Choir, Orchestra, and Media Center.
Minor exterior and site improvements, including the removal of portables.
Con-Real began construction on the J. Martin Jacquet Middle School campus on June 26, 2024. The new two-story addition building will also feature a courtyard and a new, secure front entry vestibule. Demolition and site preparation is on going as we near the end of August 2024.
We are here! An NTP to begin construction on J. Martin Jacquet Middle School was granted on June 26, 2024. The team is taking the necessary steps to prepare for building renovations and site demolition to make space for the new Addition building.
As Jacquet Middle School makes progress through the design phases of the 2021 Bond Program, new renderings are in development- capturing common areas, collaboration spaces, and conceptual classrooms.
