Key Information

The W.P. Mclean Middle School project will receive major interior renovations throughout the campus. These include a new secured front entry vestibule, corridor upgrades, and life cycle improvements including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) replacements/upgrades. Exterior upgrades include tuckpointing, replacement of roof, windows, doors, and rooftop HVAC units. Also included are media center, science lab, fine arts and classroom expansions. The project will also include technology and security upgrades, interior upgrades to common areas and cafeteria, removal of the portables, and minor site improvements including parking expansion. The expansion will include fine arts, science labs, classrooms, and special education classrooms (SPED). The media center, science lab, and classroom expansions are two-story additions. The fine arts addition is one-story.
